Today, Yummypets would like to introduce you to June, a playful and loyal pooch. She's photogenic, kind, and has been a Yummypets member for a few months now!
To begin with, June is an adorable and active Yummypets member. Her photos fill our hearts with joy! When, where, and how did you meet June?
Back in Costa Rica, my two daughters and I were walking through the mall and stopped by a pet store where they had a few pets. We went inside just to look around and saw a small tiny white toy poodle on a cage… when we were preparing to pet it, my youngest daughter saw a really tiny brown puppy hiding behind a water bowl in the same cage.. she picked her up and showed her to us… we were instantly in love! We decided right away to rescue her from the pet store, that’s how we got June. After 2 years we decided to move to the USA and, of course, June came with us.
Where does June's name come from?
When we were driving home, my youngest daughter was saying different names. When she said June, the little pup reacted instantly: we decided that was going to be her name!!!
What is her personality like?
June is adorable, playful, very intelligent and sometimes stubborn. She's also very loyal and caring and she hates squirrels. ️
What is your favorite thing about Yummypets?
People there are very nice and friendly and made us feel welcomed when we first posted there.
Whatʼs your best memory together?
The happy look on her face whenever she goes for a run. Running is her favorite thing to do!!!
Have you got any funny stories to tell us?
Whenever any of us gets home she gets the zoomies. She loves to steal socks and runs from us when we try to get them lol She’s a natural dog model, whenever she sees me with the phone she sits, looks cute and waits until I take a picture, maybe because she know there is a treat involved? Lol
What makes June unique?
Her distinctive white paw. When she was a puppy she was all dark brown but when she got older her hair became darker, almost black and she has now white hair on her chest, chin and the left paw.
What was June's biggest adventure?
When we decided to come to the USA, she had an adventure. She had to come by herself on a plane. My husband and my youngest daughter were already here. When they arrived at the cargo airport in Miami, they wouldn’t let her out and my husband could hear her because she’s very loud and “vocal”. He somehow convinced the agent to let her out: when she saw him she was sooo happy!
