A few reminders about adopting your kitten
Firstly, it is recommended that you wait until a kitten is 2.5 to 3 months old before adopting him or her. This is because they need adequate time for socliaisation and to learn vital skills from their mother.
You will need to look into microchipping and make sure you abide by the laws of your country.
Remember: adopting an animal is agreeing to meet their needs. This includes vet fees, food and any other expenses that may crop up.

1. Which type of kitten do you want?
Some prefer a very playful and active kitten while others prefer a calmer pet.
2. Don’t be distracted by cuteness
Kittens are adorable little beings, but it can be all too easy to find yourself distracted by appearances, when they personality and behaviour of a kitten is so much more important!
3. Spend time with them
You should spend some time with the kittens, watch them, stroke them…one of them will surely stand out of the crowd.
A few things to check before adopting include; clean ears, eyes, and nose, salmon pink gums, no signs of illness or generally feeling unwell.
