Francis Slay, the mayor of Saint Louis, USA, fights against owners who leave their animals outside during the long periods of cold.

A new measure has been taken in the United States and I am very pleased with it. The mayor of St. Louis has taken a somewhat radical measure confiscating animals left out by their owners and prosecuting the latter for animal cruelty. The polar cold that has hit Missouri forced the mayor to take greater steps than simple preventative measures to save these dogs and cats.

Thus, the police teams have been strengthened to roam neighborhoods and identify dogs and cats left in the gardens by their unknowing owners.

Through these sanctions, the mayor of Saint Louis hopes to raise awareness of the dangers of cold for the animals and save my companions!
