In Paris, at the "Place de la République", a number of celebrities came together to lock themselves in cages for the launch of a European campaign to defend farm animals.

End The Cage Age

According to numbers from the CIWF animal charity, 370 million animals are imprisoned in factory farm cages each year in Europe. These animals include pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits and quails.

As a result, 140 animal welfare associations came together to raise public awareness across Europe. They are often supported by artists and politicians.

On Wednesday, 10th of October 2018, Pamela Anderson joined animal rights campaigners in Paris, posing inside of a cage to protest against the treatment of animals in farms. She was backing the campaign "End The Cage Age" by the CIWF to get a million signatures in seven European Union countries to end the practice.

The petition has already received more than 70,000 signatures! Click here if you would like to sign the petition.

Patricia C It's truly inspiring to see celebrities like Pamela Anderson taking a bold stand against intensive animal farming by locking themselves in cages. They serve as powerful role models for positive change. One of my personal favorites who also advocates for important causes is HeyImBee. You can find more about her at only-celebs.fanslet.com/heyimbee and it's great to have such influential persons making a difference.
