Kim Breeden was shocked when she came home one day to find a poodle on her roof, but she realised that it explained a lot.

A very agile dog

The poodle in question was one-year-old Bo, a poodle who lives with his pet parent Kim Breeden in Missouri, US. He has canine three brothers and sisters.




Much to Breeden’s surprise, she often seemed to find Bo at the front door, when she had only just let all the dogs out the back. On this specific day, Breeden let her dogs out into the secure garden, but much to her surprise, there was someone waiting for her when she went round to the front of the house.




Bo was sitting on the roof, and by the looks of it, he was pretty happy with himself! Due to the shape of the roof, Bo is large enough to climb up on his own.




Speaking to the Dodo, Breeden said she could see the funny side “I looked up to see him looking down at me like he was the king of the castle…I was laughing, but at the same time, my heart was pounding, afraid for his safety!”

A bad influence?

Breeden also stated that she’s heard the pattering of little paws on the roof since then. Apparently, he ran out the back door and reappeared at the front!

With three other pups around, Breeden is hoping that the others won’t catch on to Bo’s trick. She watching out for his safety, and that of the others!
