When a cyclist witnessed a truck driver leaving his dog on the side of the road, she phoned the police.

Caught on video

The cyclist recorded a truck driver abandoning his dog on the side of the road. In the video the dog is left on the side of the road as the truck drives away. The dog is clearly confused as to why his owner is leaving him, and tries to chase after the truck.

 

The cyclist wanted to save the dog, but unfortunately it had already run away by the time the police arrived.

A new home

She posted the video online, and it circulated quickly - sparking outrage. One man decided to locate the dog to give it a new home. He spent two days looking for it, and when he finally located it, he gave the pup a loving new home!
