Rickey Young did not hesitate one second to stop on the highway to rescue an injured dog.

"I have a dog and I could not bear to see it on a highway like this," he said.

Rickey was able to lure the female labrador with a sandwich to bring her to his car. According to him,  the dog looked much more serene and confident once in the car.

After having been consulted by a veterinarian, it turns out that the dog was suffering from internal bleeding and fractures.

Beautiful could be treated as she arrived on time at the clinic.

We do not know if Rickey adopted this courageous female labrador. It seems that the dog was wandering, and ownerless as she wore no collar or chip.
