European Shorthair

Counterpart of the Britain British Shorthair and the American Shorthair American, this animal is derived from the common domestic cat ("alley cat"). Robust and well muscled, its dense fur is glossy and short. Except during moulting, a weekly brushing is sufficient. Active and dynamic, it is calm, gentle, affectionate and easy going. It has a high adaptability and loves outdoor life, being a good hunter.
