Someone made an anonymous donation of $8000 to a shelter

No one really knows who they are, but a mystery person has just made a very generous donation that will help a large number of animals.

Last Wednesday, the Mercredi 'Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA' team in California had a huge but pleasant surprise, discovering that their collections box had been filled with notes in just a few minutes. Without their having noticed, an anonymous visiter decided to drop in a wad of twenties that totaled $8000!

A welcome donation

For the shelter that looks after more than 12,000 animals a year, the discovery of the money was a welcome surprise.

"We're crazy with happiness because of this anonymous donation. We are incredibly grateful and would like to thank our mysterious donor. Whoever you are, thank you so much for your generosity. Your donation will help all the animals we look after," declared a spokesperson for the shelter.

Not everyone has the means to make such a generous donation, but remember that there is no such thing as 'a small donation' because each donation can make a large difference. In addition, there are many other ways to help a shelter, for example working as a volunteer or becoming a host family for animals in need, for example.

We also would like to thank this generous person who, through their donation, will contribute to the well-being of many animals in need.
