Bull Terrier

The Bull Terrier is a dog that came from numerous crosses. To perfect this breed, they were notably crossed with the Borzoi and the Collie to give their skull the unique egg shape.

Originally, this breed was used to control the propagation of pests. However, it's important to point out that Bull Terriers started off as combat dogs. These dogs stood out because they were quick. They had the dexterity of a Terrier and the strong endurance of a Bulldog. Fortunately, in 1835, the British parliament forbid combat between animals. Even though some clandestine fights were held, the Bull Terrier found its new place as a pet.

The Bull Terrier is calm, energetic, and courageous. They have a lot of spirit and a bubbly character. In addition, they are affectionate and trustworthy dogs.

The entire family of Greyhounds is known for their long muzzle. Every single Greyhound dog has a long snout.

There are two types of Greyhounds:

  • Short-haired Greyhounds like the Galgo, the Whippet, the Sloughi, the Magyar Agar, the Azawahk, the Greyhound, and the Chart Polski.
  •  Long-haired Greyhounds: Afghan Greyhound, Borzoi, Deerhound, Irish Wolfhound, Saluki Greyhound and Kalagh Tazi Greyhound.

Greyhounds are built for speed. Thanks to their long and thin body, they can reach impressive speeds. For example, Greyhounds can exceed an average speed of 60 km/h (≈ 37 mp/h) and top speeds of 90 km/h (≈ 56 mp/h)!

Originally accompanying hunters, Greyhounds slowly found their way into households as a pet. As these dogs are energetic, they need to exercise daily.
