At the heart of the Hawaiian archipelago, there is a tranquil island that is a veritable haven: the cat sanctuary of Lanai.

This little island shelters nearly 500 cats who have made it their home. The numerous cats can be visited and adopted by those who wish to, but for those that aren't lucky enough to have a family, the Lanai cat sanctuary offers a shelter for the rest of their life. Many people come every day to the island in order to get their share of stroking and purring! Everyone respects the cats and it is them who choose their new families.

This little corner of paradise is for our deserving feline friends!
