Why does my rabbit like to eat dog food

I have two rabbits and a dog so whenever I let my rabbits in the garden n the dog in the front garden my rabbits always seem to like eating the dog food.  Is this a bad thing to their health? Does is bring any illnesses !

    Although dog food is not good for rabbits they seem to like the flavor because it's new to them. Odd I know.. :)
