Appaloosa

This breed of horse is native of North America. Its body is muscular and its morphology is so versatile that this animal can perform just as well classical riding or western riding. Its main feature is to have a coat very often covered with spots. This horse has a docile and quiet character, but it can be strong. It will be a pleasure to ride, because it will prove strong, and very agile. The Appaloosa has a strong historical past, since it was the frame of reference of the Indians, until the U.S. Army decimated entire herds in 1877. Thus, it is nowadays almost impossible to find original Appaloosas.
