Scotch Collie

This sheepdog is of Scottish origin, and measure between 50cm and 60cm for about 25 kilos. Its uniqueness is its fur: it has long dense hair all over the body, especially on the neck, it is usually sable and white or even blue merle tricolor. This is a very sweet and loving animal, which means very good with the children with whom it is patient and very protective. It is very loyal to its owner but a little aloof with people it does not know. You will need to educate it firmly. Very active, it excels in agility. Did you know that this is the breed of dog that was used in the novel and the show Lassie? A real star!
