Andalusian Hound

As its name suggests, this breed is originally from Spain, specifically from Andalusia. This large dog has the distinction of having erect ears on his head and almost stuck against each other. There are several types of Andalusian Hound: small, medium and large with hard, long or silky fur. Its sight, hearing and smell are especially developed, making it an excellent hunter (especially rabbits). It is a loving and loyal pet and a good guard dog for the house. Did you know that we discovered in the caves of the Iberian peninsula ancient drawings that represented this breed?
