Lapponian Herder

This dog from Finland is also called "Lapinporokoira" or " Finnish Lapland Sheepdog�.It measures between 45 and 55cm and weighs about 20 kilos. It is longer than tall and very muscular, but its silhouette is fluid. Its hair is medium and stiff. The coat does not have a particular color, usually two colors. It is very attached to its owner, with whom it has a relationship of absolute trust. It gets along well with other animals in the home including its peers, and it is very affectionate in the presence of children. Dynamic, it will need to regularly exercise to be happy. This is an excellent working dog, used for many activities: avalanche dog, blind dog ... Warning: it will not be happy in an apartment.
