Landseer

This cousin of the Newfoundland is of English origin, and its name comes from the painter Edwin Landseer made famous for his paintings of dogs. It has a rustic and rather imposing appearance: it measures between 65 and 80 cm for about 70 kilos. It is muscular, with powerful legs. Its hair is long, thick and soft on the body, especially the head and on the tail. The coat has two colors, white with black spots: brush it regularly. This is an affectionate dog who loves to be surrounded by its family. Dynamic, it will need to exercise a lot to be happy; having a garden is highly recommended if you want a Landseer. You can take it with you to the beach because it loves water.
