Lakeland Terrier

This dog is a native of England, and as the name suggests comes from the lake region. It measures about 35cm and weighs 7 kilos. It is muscular with a long snout. Its hair is hard and dense all over the body, which allows it to withstand the weather. The coat can be black, tan, brown, blue or red. Groom it from time to time. This is a happy and loving dog, but it needs some independence. This is an excellent hunter (rabbits and foxes mainly) and is courageous, responsive and energetic. It will need lots of exercise to feel good.
