Lagotto Romagnolo

This dog is a native of Romagna, a region of Italy. It measures between 40 and 50cm and weighs about 15 kilos. It is hardy, muscular with strong legs, and has an excellent sense of smell. Its hair is short, woolly, curly and all over the body, especially on its head. The coat can be one color or two colors: white, brown, tan, or orange. Groom and mow it regularly to keep it looking nice! Originally used for hunting, it is now mostly used as truffle dog. It is an intelligent companion, obedient and responsive: it is fairly easy to train and will be a friend for life. Affectionate, it is very attached to its family.
