Irish wolfhound

This rustic companion is the largest dog in the world: it measures 85cm and weighs at least forty pounds! It is an imposing greyhound, very muscular with long limbs. It was originally used to hunt wolves and bears. Its hair is coarse and short, and can be gray, brindle, white, black or even red. It is a very protective and sweet dog, especially with children, which it loves to defend. It will only attack if provoked, and will bark first. This is a very good guard dog: it is balanced and loving, but if it must defend its owner it will be ruthless!
