MeoowzResQ strives to reduce the suffering and numbers of homeless and unaltered felines throughout communities in the Southern California region. Their organization takes kitties from local shelters, strays in their community and those given up by their owners. All their kitties are spay/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and flea treated before adoption as well as any other medically necessary treatment. They fully support 821 felines, which reside with their 202 Foster Volunteers, who have no out-of-pocket expense, they only ask they provide love and care for the felines. Their end goal is to find permanent homes for their rescued felines. In addition, to caring for cat’s in their rescue, they are willing to pay for the cost of spay and neuter or food when members of the community are in need to pay for these services for their own feline. They also help with veterinary care and food for local colony kitties. They take many medical cases that other rescues simply cannot afford to.
