Great Pyrenees

This big dog is also called Patou, which means boss in Occitan! It measures between 65cm and 80cm and weighs about sixty pounds. It is muscular and well built, with powerful members. Its hair is long and flexible, well supplied throughout the body, especially on the neck. It is usually white but can also be yellow or orange, with gray spots. This is an excellent guard for home, very protective. It is affectionate and sociable, especially with children. Warning: it will not adapt to city life and apartment, it needs lots of exercise and space, and its barks can disturb any neighbors.
